Grant Newsletter - June 2010

Dear Friend,

It’s been a while since our last Newsletter as we’ve been busy helping our clients get government grants.
Fortunately we’ve just finished submitting them all … so this is an opportunity to update everyone on what’s happening.

Due to a high of demand for our services, we’ll be gradually expanding and adding additional MBA consultants (through our relationship with the Melbourne Business School)… so we can be confident that our clients are getting the best advice.

‘Hot’ Government Grants

Below are 3 current government grants you should consider applying for.

Retooling For Climate Change : Up to $500K for manufacturers to replace existing equipment to reduce water or energy used as part of the manufacturing process.
  • Only manufacturers are eligible for this grant
  • This grant is “dollar for dollar” so matching funding is required
  • Deadline is ASAP

Exports Grants : Up to $200K a year for existing exporters towards marketing goods or services overseas. Covers expenditure such as overseas consultants, marketing visits, printing of brochures and Google advertising.
  • You must spend the money before applying… so NOT for new exporters!
  • Must have spent $70K+ marketing overseas during the last 2 years
  • Deadline: You can apply anytime after July, 2010 … the sooner, the better

Commercialisation Australia : Up to $2M for companies to commercialise (bring to market) their idea. This program only went live in January, 2010.
  • Matching funding or ability to get matching funding is required
  • Need to own or have access to Intellectual Property
